72 El Camino; looking for H or X pipe (exhaust) dyno?

The stroker mod is good but if you wish to have factory reliabillity you have to re-adapt your driver responce. My factory 300hp 350ci in my 70 monte was extreamly agile. Between the exhaust cut-off and the thermac-air cleaner embly and the secondary carb block-off, was I able to go 90k miles above and beyond the 80k long-block rebuild. The weak link was the factory T-350 trans and converter. I strongly suggest a converter with the updated sprag bearings. If your machine is posi-traction , update the entire /converter to modern spec's. My stock '70 could run 145mph all day long. It came stock with the trailer option. Big 4-core radiator and a extra cooler. The 10-bolt axle was 2.45 with 235-7x15's. This engine could sustain a solid 6800 rpm! All factory!.
