My Mom and I been in a fight for a whole year about the marines?

I've been in the service for 12 years, and I'm currently serving overseas on my second deployment to Iraq. I would highly recommend military service to pretty much everyone, at least 1 term of service. You learn a lot about yourself, being responsible, values, etc serving in the military. The opportunities for education are many, and it looks good on a resume having some practical real world experience. Not to mention that military service gives you an edge in a lot of career fields with law enforcement being one of them.
