Will a report from CPS or DFACS hinder my ability to become a teacher? There was no truth to the report.?
In February of 2007, a co-worker called CPS to my home claiming I was abusing my children, which was untrue. The worker came into my home and found no wrongdoing, and sent a letter stating the fact. I want to go to school to become a teacher, but I'm afraid this will show up on my background and keep them from hiring me, even if there was no issues found in my home. My question is, does this show up on a background check or anything else? And if so, will the fact that there was no truth in the accusation help?
