How many of you cannot understand that the USA is a target?

I agree with you that we are in a sort of clash of civilizations or at least ideologies, however, right now we are fueling our own worst enemies. Cutting relations and friendships with other countries also does not help the matter. We have lost all the goodwill we once had when we were the victims, and we have struck back without good intelligence or purpouse. That puts us all at further risk. It does not make us safer. Al Qaeda was dead and burried after the initial onslaught. Now they've resurfaced stronger than ever, and have become ideological martyrs, endangering us all.
