My toddler turned purple?

my toddler has been turning purple for about a month now i went to two hospitals and both tell me he is fine they say its not his heart because he isnt blue one told me he had raynauds disease but i dont think it is cuz his face wouldnt change colors he gets purple splotchy colored skin its cold and swollen he gets it on his nose lips arms legs hands feet about everyother day for an hour or so maybe even a couple times a day usually while eating sometime just when he is sitting he isnt having trouble breathing though does anyone have any other suggestions on what this could be
